Helping ex-offenders get back on their feet again...
Friday, February 18, 2011 at 2:18AM Attend a free Caring for Ex-offenders Workshop next week, Saturday, February 26th at Church of the Holy Trinity in
Kitchener, ON from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm (lunch provided).
Join Canadian Director of Prison Alpha, Sue Bennett, as she and her team provide information and training on ways to support inmates who are released from prison and need help with re-integration into the community (many of them took the Alpha course while incarcerated!).

Read Missie’s story about prison and the help of the Alpha community:
In 2006 I was arrested for selling a large amount of drugs, and was sentenced to three years at the Grand Valley Institute for Women, which is a federal prison. While I was there, one of the girls told me about Alpha.
At first I had major trust issues… what’s this program, what are these people getting paid to do? I’d been involved with other Christian fellowships off and on through my childhood, and I’d often thought they must have ulterior motives. (click here for more…)
