Duncan’s experience:
"When I was two years old, my parents divorced. Though my mother tried, it wasn’t possible for her to give the attention that my brother and I craved. No mask could hide her heartache.  In 2001, my mother was introduced to the Alpha Course ….  As she embraced her Lord and Saviour, she became transformed from within. My brother and I sensed it immediately. I knew I HAD to check out this church that she was going to….!" <read more here>

Shona’s adventure:
"For 16 years of my life I was enslaved in the sex trade as a prostitute. I had experienced sexual molestation as a child. I had poor self-esteem.  At the age of 10, I started smoking, by the age of 11, I was drinking and at 13 years old I began using drugs.  I ended up making a choice to enter the sex trade as a viable means of employment. One day my friend begged me to come with her to her sister’s church. It turned out it was an Alpha banquet…"  <read more here>

Steve & Jessica’s journey:
"Before Alpha, we were together as a couple, but we hadn’t committed to each other. We weren’t sure what our future was as a couple. We weren’t really clear on what we wanted as individuals. And I’m not sure that we necessarily had a strong sense of purpose." Steve and Jess liked the Alpha course so much, they signed up as helpers for the next course.
