Un-churched young adults share the same values that Alpha embraces. Building relationships, eating together, and the opportunity to learn through discussion rather than a lecture are all a good fit for our current young adult culture. Alpha is the right fit for this generation.
(Pastor Dennis Varty, Church on 99, AB)
Alpha helps people discover a relationship with Jesus Christ!
78% of non-churchgoers who took Alpha started a relationship with Jesus Christ.
(consistent for the past 3 years)
Over the past 11 years we have seen 375 people accept the Lord; many of them are involved in various ministries, with some of our key leaders coming out of an Alpha course.
(Dan Wannop, Maple Ridge Alliance Church, BC)

Alpha sparks church growth and unity!
75% of churches running Alpha report church growth.
The Alpha Course enables churches to work together towards a common vision, regardless of denominational, cultural and social composition. I believe that the past few years have been among the most exciting and rewarding in Canadian church history, and in my estimation this is due to the impact that Alpha is making in local churches across this nation.
(Doug Rhind, Portico Community Church, ON)
Alpha’s ripple effect - discipleship and leadership development!
56% of Alpha leaders & helpers came to faith in Christ on a previous Alpha course.
We have had about 170 people go through Alpha training. The great reward is a church full of trained, ready and willing Christians. As people get trained, ministry gets easier.
(Roland Lewis, Baptist District Minister, BC)
Alpha rejuvenates congregations to evangelize!
86% say personal invitation is the best promotional tool.
Experiencing Alpha gives the desire not only to live but also to share the Good News of the living Christ. It is a path of reconciliation and a reason to hope for Christian unity. (His Eminence Cardinal Marc Ouellet, former Cardinal of Quebec and Canadian Roman Catholic Primate)
